Caldic announces acquisition of Food Industry Technology Ltd

Rotterdam, The Netherlands, May 30, 2022 - Caldic B.V. today announced the acquisition of UK-based Food Industry Technology Ltd (FIT), a value-add distributor of food ingredients and functional blends. FIT will help accelerate Caldic’s strategy to increase its focus on life science solutions and growth in this attractive market.

For over 35 years, FIT has been active in the distribution, manufacturing and sales of specialty ingredients, functional blends and innovative products, targeting nutrition, texture and taste functionalities in particular. The Bedfordshire-based team is dedicated to providing customized solutions and bespoke blends. Furthermore, the application expertise and technical support enable FIT to tailor functional solutions to the UK food manufacturing industry.
