Caldic Latin America: fully integrated and rebranded to further unlock value creation

Rotterdam, The Netherlands, January 16, 2023 - Today marks the official launch of Caldic Latin America through the full rebranding of the former GTM Holdings and quantiQ to Caldic. The rebranding signals the successful transformation of both organizations within a year after the close of the transaction that initiated the merger between Caldic and GTM in February 2022. The decision to merge was integral to the acquisition of Caldic by private equity investor Advent International. During the past year, teams from across the organization have been committed to ensure a smooth integration of the businesses into one organization, helping Caldic reinforce its solid presence in Latin America.

Access to capabilities

Under the Caldic brand, the Latin America team broadens its reach and further leverages the portfolio and value-added services from the other regions Caldic is present in. Unique ingredients, specialty chemicals and solutions, as well as application expertise and manufacturing capabilities are more widely accessible for principals and customers, which will unlock multiple opportunities to develop customized solutions for the food & nutrition, (bio)pharma, personal care and industrial formulations markets. The expertise to provide bespoke solutions for the life science market is further enhanced by last year’s acquisitions of Active Pharmaceutica and Bring Solutions in Brazil, which focus on products, services and solutions for the pharmaceutical and food market respectively.
