Supply Chain (& Operations) Process Lead

Supply Chain (& Operations) Process Lead is responsible for leading the standardized business process design to be enabled through the implementation of the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations ERP solution.


This role will drive process standardization across operating sites; identify, evaluate, and recommend key
design decisions, lead daily work activities, manage risks/issues, and drive/facilitate design workshops and meetings.


Key Responsibilities


• Lead the business process design for future state supply chain and operation functions to be enabled by Dynamics 365. Scope of supply chain workstream covers forecast to plan, operational purchasing,
schedule to produce, store to fulfill, and order to cash.


• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and other workstreams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of supply chain objectives with overall program goals, and communicating / validating them against Dynamics 365 functionalities and requirements.


• Drive the adoption of Dynamics 365 tools among local supply chain teams, overseeing testing, training, and support change management / user adoption to ensure effective usage.


• Make or recommend informed design decisions and maintain accountability for the quality and performance of the supply chain workstream.


• Provide support to the integration and migration of the supply chain master and operational data, ensuring sufficient data quality and accuracy – working with Master Data teams.


• Champion the implementation of change management strategies to support the implementation of Dynamics 365.


• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, leveraging Dynamics 365 insights to make data-driven decisions for business growth.


• Stay abreast of new Dynamics 365 features and industry trends to continuously improve commercial operations at Caldic Europe.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.


• 7-10 years Supply Chain Management experience, European supply chain operations experience preferred.

 

• Proven experience leading business process designs during ERP implementations, with a preference for Dynamics 365 supply chain modules.


• Strong understanding of global supply chain logistics, planning (MRP), manufacturing methodologies, transport, warehouse and inventory management practices.


• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional implementation projects.


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.


• Mix of hands-on, operational, pragmatic experience and project management roles.


• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.


• Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments and with external partners.


• Professional certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSPC or CPIM) is a plus.


• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and to respond proactively to evolving business demands.


• Ability to travel in Europe 20-30% (and potentially internationally but expect this to be limited).


• Fluent English. One or more other languages is a plus (German, French, Spanish, Italian)

6 month interim role / contract (plus possible extension)
40 hrs per week
Hybrid working: office 2-3 days per week / virtual / travel
