Caldic and Celtic Renewables enter strategic partnership

Caldic, a leading solutions provider for the life science and specialty chemical industries will distribute the bio-solvents produced by Celtic Renewables’ first production plant. This high purity, bio solution, with an extremely low carbon footprint, will provide Caldic’s customers with a sustainable bio-based alternative to fossil fuel produced solvents.

This significant deal coincides with COP-26 which is good news for the UK as it transitions to a net-zero economy. The announcement of the partnership was made by Mark Simmers, Chief Executive Officer of Celtic Renewables, during today’s Engage, Invest and Exploit COP Event (Wednesday 3rd November) attended by Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

In fact, today we also launch an additional round of crowdfunding to support our plans to build larger scale facilities around the world, which will enable us to bring more of our sustainable solutions to a greater number of people who are interested in doing the right thing for the planet.”
