About us

In Brazil, Caldic began as Ipiranga Química in 1991. Over the years, it expanded its portfolio, acquired companies such as Forlab-Chitec (2005) and Unipar (2011), and strengthened its national presence with distribution centers like the one in Guarulhos, the largest in Latin America.

In 2009, the company adopted the name quantiQ and, in 2017, was acquired by the American private equity firm Advent International, becoming part of the GTM operation in Latin America. In 2023, following Advent’s acquisition of Caldic, the company began operating under the Caldic brand across LATAM, becoming part of one of the world's leading distributors of chemial specialties.

Currently, Caldic operates facilities in Guarulhos, Duque de Caxias, and Palhoça, as well as strategically located logistics bases throughout the country. It serves a wide range of industries, including Human Nutrition, Personal Care, Pharmaceuticals, Paints, Agriculture, Rubber, and Lubricants, offering comprehensive solutions in products and services
