Caldic appoints Elcio Mendes as Chief Executive Officer, Caldic LATAM

Rotterdam, The Netherlands, November 22, 2022 - Caldic B.V. today announces the appointment of Elcio Mendes as Chief Executive Officer, Caldic LATAM, effective December 1, 2022. Elcio will succeed Rodrigo Gutierrez, who has served the role at the company formerly known as GTM since 2020.

Elcio Mendes is a Senior Executive who brings more than three decades of experience across commercial, manufacturing, logistics, procurement and R&D functions in the food, agribusiness and chemical industry. At present he is the VP Operations, Caldic LATAM.

 

During his career Elcio has held various key Operations and Supply Chain positions in companies in Brazil such as Monsanto, FMC, Iana Agribusiness and Holding Terra Verde. Furthermore, he was the Operations Director and subsequently Head of Global Procurement & Supply Chain at Adama Agricultural Solutions, where he initially started in Brazil in 2013, and moved to Tel Aviv (Israel) in 2015 and to China in 2019. Elcio joined GTM in Brazil as VP operations in 2020.
