Caldic announces agreement to acquire Betaquímica S.A.

Founded in 1989, Betaquímica is renowned for its outstanding value-add solution offering for the industrial markets, and particularly for its specialization in additives, stabilizers and modifiers for polymers and rubber. Dedicated technical support is provided to enable customers to effectively apply the products sold under their own brand. Furthermore, specifically for water treatment, Betaquímica has developed an in-depth materials and services offering tailored to desalinization processes, which is fully compliant with environment legislation. This unique specialization, in combination with the extensive portfolio of high quality raw materials, enabled the company to establish a strong position in Iberia and across Europe and Latin America through its export activities.
