Our global network of colleagues and facilities enables us to help drive the efficiency and sustainability of the operations of our business partners through solutions backed by outstanding R&D, regulatory support, and market know-how, and tailored to specific needs.

While we provide the utmost care to the needs of our business partners, we ensure all our activities keep sustainability at their core, minimizing the impact on the environment and giving back to the communities and the society we partake in. Our history

Over the past 50 years, Caldic transformed from a traditional chemicals trading company into a distribution partner for the life and material sciences markets. When Joop van Caldenborgh established Caldic as a conventional trading company in the Netherlands in 1970, he laid the foundations for today’s international business that delivers innovative solutions with high added value. Today, Caldic is a leading global distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients for the food and nutrition, personal care, pharmaceutical, and industrial formulation markets.

Through a series of strategic acquisitions and large-scale mergers, such as GTM and QuantiQ in Latin America, and Connell in Asia Pacific, we are now operating in 43 countries and thus have established a strong foothold in four regions. We continue to further strengthen our global proposition by investing in state-of-the-art application and product testing labs, culinary innovation kitchens, cleanrooms for pharmaceutical products, and the expansion of several of our offices and warehousing facilities.
