At Caldic, sustainability drives every action across our organization worldwide. From responsible sourcing, renewable energy use, to driving operational efficiency and smarter logistics. Every action reflects our laser-focused approach to building a more resilient, lower-impact supply chain. To this end, we have embedded accountability into how we lead, partner, and innovate, to make things better, every day. The outcomes of the EcoVadis assessments are integral to our roadmap for continuous improvement.
We are proud to share that, for the first time, Caldic Group has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum rating, achieving an outstanding score of 92/100. This milestone makes Caldic the first among its direct competitors to surpass the 90-point threshold, placing us a clear eight points ahead of our closest peer.
This recognition reflects the collective commitment of our teams across the organization to embedding measurable ESG principles into our operations and processes. It also underscores Caldic’s position as one of the few global specialty distributors actively driving site-level ESG performance evaluation across its rated subsidiaries.
This achievement is especially significant due to the extensive progress across our subsidiaries. We now boast 19 Platinum and 16 Gold local ratings, with eight entities moving from Gold to Platinum compared to the prior year. Our average EcoVadis score, for entities receiving results in Q4, increased from 78 in 2024 to 89 in the final quarter of 2025. Caldic Ingredients France topped the list with 96 points, and eight entities achieved a score of 90 or higher in 2025.
If 2024 was about establishing our ESG baseline, 2025 was about moving forward together with our entities, assessing our gaps and turning insight into action. We proudly joined CDP, a global non-profit that operates the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system. CDP enables companies, capital markets, cities, states, and regions to measure and manage their environmental impact.
In our first-ever submission, Caldic achieved a B score; the highest possible for companies opting out of full public disclosure. Given that this was our inaugural assessment, our focus was on identifying improvement opportunities. This result highlights the growing maturity of our environmental management systems.
This year, we also became members of Together for Sustainability (TfS), a worldwide initiative uniting companies to promote responsible sourcing and transparency in supply chains. Among more than 1,300 suppliers in the TfS network, Caldic now holds the top position in our industry based on its EcoVadis score, reflecting the depth and credibility of our sustainability efforts.
In addition, Caldic was the first among its peers to commit to the UN Global Compact’s Faster Forward initiative aimed at reducing inequalities and building more resilient supply chains by ensuring a living wage across the workforce. We have developed a detailed roadmap to achieve our 100% living wage target as quickly as possible across our global organization. As customers and principals increasingly see ESG performance as a key commercial advantage, we are strengthening our ESG credentials to add value and enhance our partnerships.
The EcoVadis recognition is a meaningful validation that our efforts are substantial and that we are moving in the right direction. With EcoVadis Platinum secured and valid until December 2026, we have a strong foundation to build on. Our next focus areas include accelerating decarbonization initiatives, refining governance and ethics frameworks, and further developing the ESG enablers that support long-term value creation for our people, partners, and our business.
