Challenge

One of the natural portfolio's of  our long-time principal was set to be introduced for the first time to a group of select customers. How could we ensure we both promote their offerings and drive their business while realizing customer needs? 

Solution

Together with our principal, we co-organized a seminar that was hosted at the Connell Caldic premises in the Philippines. This afforded us the opportunity to introduce their portfolio through an engaging technical session about its natural and biodegradable offerings, We invited a group of purposively selected contract manufacturers – who are looking for sustainable alternatives – giving the principal a first-hand insight into the challenges and trends in the personal care market.

 

The participants were in for a surprise when our R&D experts used samples from the range to create a selection of prototypes to illustrate the possible end applications of the ingredients. Formulated in our personal care lab in the Philippines, our skilled experts were able to come up with innovative, customizable product applications that included a ‘jelly’ soap that could be used as a hand and body wash. The experts guided the participants into creating their very own face and hair essence spray!

Our principal was able to both introduce and promote their portfolio while the customers were able to experience, first-hand, the potential end application of its ingredients with the help of our commercial and technical specialists.
