Business Development Manager Personal Care

Full time

You would be responsible for direct commercial sales activities for the Personal Care Market. Management of your assigned accounts requires you to be commercially astute and have an entrepreneurial approach to business. You offer solution to your customer in the personal care market and maintain and expand relationships with customers and prospects. You set strategies and targets for long term growth for our customers. The role is home office based but you will be expected to attend the Benelux offices (nearby Antwerp and Rotterdam) regularly.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead generation and follow-up of opportunities
  • Maintaining and developing existing business
  • Finding and converting new business using all available resources.
  • Introduction of new products
  • Working to achieve set sales and profitability targets
  • Contract management and deal closure
  • Producing quotes and reporting commercial activity to your Sales leader

The role requires exceptional interpersonal qualities.

About you

Your personality can be described as organized, proactive, and enthusiastic with leadership skills. Your method is characterized as solution and results-orientated, and you have strong active listening and communication skills. You will develop and cultivate relationships with customers and external and internal stakeholders. In addition, you will need to have:

  • Experience in field sales
  • Knowledge of Personal care market
  • Relevant sales experience in a business-to-business environment
  • The willingness to travel within the region
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel Word and CRM systems
  • Experience of distribution would be preferred but not essential
  • Good team working ethic
