Process and Application Specialist

The purpose of this role is to help accomplish Caldic’s Digital Transformation strategy by translating business needs and delivering relevant and solid solutions mainly in the areas of CRM and reporting/BI. It includes identification, translation and resolution of (internal) customer requirements and opportunities, improvement / digitalization of processes, building and documentation of reports, deep understanding and maintenance of the CRM tool. The Process and Application Specialist (PAS) takes ownership of assigned projects and makes sure together with the business and other project participants that projects are completed in a proactive and high quality way. In addition, the PAS takes ownership of the reporting and CRM tools and underlying processes.

Job responsibilities:

1. CRM and Reporting projects
Identify or initiate challenges/opportunities of internal customers or external business partners.
Support customers to clarify what is the problem or opportunity. Document everything and circle back to the customer.
Prepare road map to solve the problem/opportunity
Reach agreement with customer and other stakeholders on the action plan
Coordinate execution of project and actively handle building of front-end (reports, CRM processes)
Complete the project and validate if targets have been achieved
Transfer the solution to the customer and ensure sustainable structure is in place

2. Support existing reports and CRM processes

3. Participate in ad-hoc process improvement projects

4. Follow trends and best-in-class practices around CRM and BI

Position and location:

The Process and Application Specialist reports to the Digital Transformation Manager and is a member of Caldic’s global Digital Transformation Team.

DT team is based in Caldic’s HQ in Rotterdam and there is light preference for this location but open for other countries/locations.

About you

For this role you will need to have a strong customer focus and listening skills.  Your method is characterized as solution and results-oriented, and you have strong analytical and communication skills.  In addition, you will need to have:

- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience
- Bachelor in Business IT and Management or comparable
- Technical or IT background is a plus
- Experience with a CRM tool as key user or application maintenance
- Experience with BI tools 
- Participated in IT/Business projects
- Work experience in Chemical or Food Ingredient business is a plus
