Customer Development Manager - Savory.

Your main duties are commercial sales activities, developing and expanding relationships with your existing and new customers. You set plans and targets for long term growth for the assigned segment and own customers together with the strong backup from Caldic colleagues in sales, product management, product development and from external partners. You ensure the development and sales of the whole Caldic product portfolio and you are also responsible for pricing, contracts and profitability for your own customer pool.

This is a key role to grow and develop the sales in Denmark as well as support your colleagues in the Nordic markets working in the Savory Segment.

About you

In order to be successful in this role you need to be independent and have passion for food and business. You are the face of Caldic towards the clients, and you like to gain and analyze the complete market insight as well as indicators and trends. You are capable of discussing the product development process with your customers in a consultative approach and feel proud when a new product is launched on the market as a result of great cooperation.

We expect you to have relevant commercial and/or technical experience from sales, purchasing or product development within the food industry. You need great communication and networking skills, combined with a commercial mindset and entrepreneurial spirit. Understanding our customer’s processes and needs is vital in order to add value to their business development. Traveling is part of the job in order to meet clients in Denmark and colleagues in the Nordics.

Fluency in  Danish and English is required to be successful in the role.

We appreciate visions and understanding of the food market in Denmark. A degree preferably related to food science, chef and/or chemistry is a strong advantage. Above all, we are looking for a customer oriented and result focused team player, who has a curious mind-set and is eager to develop the business together with our clients and principals.
