European Product Manager

In the role of European Product Manager you will be responsible for the development of the sales of the products across Europe or in a selection of Commercial organizations (when applicable). You will work closely with the local Product Managers to ensure product strategy development and implementation. The role includes Principals management of the Product portfolio with appropriate interaction and reporting. In this role you have to ensure the liaison between the Principals and the local organizations.
The European Product Manager reports directly to the Business Development Director of the involved segment.

Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Sales Revenue and Material Margin at Product level
  • Set strategies for long-term growth of products
  • Define with “Key Principals” go to market strategy
  • Deploy specific Road Map and Execution Plan for the key Principals
  • Report on business performance and developments through monthly follow up report (dashboard)
  • Develop plan to insure multiple level relationships including all relevant stakeholders (implement appropriate zipper relation: Top-to-Top management, business, operational, quality…)
  • Establish, maintain relationships and identify needs and opportunities
  • Actively promotes and looks for opportunities to improve utilization of our facilities and/or expand services at our facilities
  • Coordinate budget / targets and oversee realization within the local Caldic organizations
  • Organize and lead operational team meeting with local organizations
  • Create awareness by sharing knowledge, success stories and good practices to local organizations

About you

You are a strong influencing and natural leader with collaboration and relationship building skills both internally and externally with Principals. There is a strong sense of ownership and target focus with a drive to succeed. Your working method is organized and structured. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are essential.

In addition, you have:

  • Deep understanding of the business “dynamics”
  • Experience in working with senior management to align strategies and solutions
  • Proven track record of managing teams
  • Experience with key account management
  • University degree
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant commercial / management experience
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
