Meet our challenge solver - Mindy Lim

With my R&D background, I worked in the application laboratory at Caldic along with my colleagues to create a multi-purpose cleaner by applying a mix of Dow products as key ingredients. The resulting prototypes were extensively tested by a panel of experts over time, which allowed us to progressively tweak the formula until its cleaning properties were optimized. Once we were satisfied with the performance of the in-house formulation in comparison with other benchmark products, it was submitted to Dow for assessment & verification. The final formulation contains ingredients that are readily biodegradable while delivering impressive cleaning results, making it more environmental-friendly as well. A promotional brochure together with the formula of the all-purpose multi-functional cleaner is currently available in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand regions.

For her contribution, Mindy Lim received a personal letter of recognition from Dow for the ‘outstanding initiative to come up with an All-purpose multi-functional cleaner formulation’.
