Sustainability is one of the key business principles at Caldic. At the same time, we understand that thermoplastic polymers are a necessity for application in several industries such as electronic goods and the automotive industry. How do we ensure that we provide such product solutions while minimizing their environmental impact?

Solution

We partnered with INEOS Styrolutions to distribute a range of polymer modifiers to improve processing and enhance end products with specific properties. INEOS shares our sustainability ambitions and we work together to lower the environmental impact of producing plastic solutions by requiring less energy in end applications. and reduced emissions. At the same time, it was of prime importance that this versatile range of products was readily available and accessible to our customers. 

In less than a year, we were able to help promote the wide product range and put in place a central hub that stocks all new powder grades of polymer modifiers – making sure that the materials are made available and accessible for commercial sales. It was crucial that the customers were aware of the widespread capabilities of the products and therefore, we ensured that the hub also allowed them to sample the range and conduct trials along with our specialists.
