As an Account Manager, you will be part of the Sales Team 'Plastics & Rubber' of Caldic Ibérica, with territorial responsibility for the Iberian peninsula. Your customers are companies blending or processing rubber and plastics.You will be responsible for the daily management and development of your existing customer and product portfolio, the direct commercial activities, sales and for maintaining contacts with suppliers. This includes calculating costs and making offers. Expanding the product portfolio and identifying and generating new business will give you energy. You will have a hands-on approach and therefore be operationally active: a portion of your time will be spent visiting suppliers and customers, identifying opportunities where you can add value to the business. You'll feel at home in an international setting and will do business with different cultures.
In this role you will report to the Commercial Manager. The candidate must be a person able to assume personnel responsibilities short/midterm.
Your personality can be described as enterprising, enthusiastic and energetic. You will need to have a strong commercial understanding and have collected already some commercial experience in the field of rubber and/or plastic raw materials. Your method is characterized as solution and results-oriented, and you have strong analytical and communication skills. You will act as a full partner for your relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues. In addition, you will need to have:
- Technical education in the field of Rubber or Plastic Technology or a degree in Chemistry and experience in a.m. fields
- A good knowledge of practical English
- The willingness to travel, mostly nationally
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word, as well as CRM
- Commercial experience selling components for rubber mixtures or for plastic masterbatches

Activities are centered on chemical industry, fine chemicals, coatings, construction materials, plastics and rubber, agrochemicals, and nutrition.
