QA Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated QA Specialist who has a high interest in Food safety, Quality and who likes to work in close collaboration with production.

We are planning on building a new food production facility in Malmö in 2025 which will replace the powder production facility in Knislinge and the liquid production facility in Rødovre, Denmark. For this reason we are looking for a highly motivated QA Specialist who can learn and maintain the Knislinge procedures for one year and then assist in the move to the new site. At the new site you will be a part of group of 3 quality colleagues supporting the production at the new site. This is a unique opportunity to have high influence on the build of a new quality and food safety system.

We will put a lot of emphasize on finding a person with right motivation who is eager to learn and for this reason newly graduated are mostly welcome to apply.

The position will be based in Malmö but expected to travel to Knislinge 2 days per week the first year.

Responsibilities will include below:

  • Food Safety and Quality Assurance support to the Production sites
  • Authorities contact (Registration, reporting and audit)
  • Shared ownership of Certifications (Including FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, Halal, Kosher, Organic)
  • Compliance of European and National food legislation · HACCP (Preliminary steps to enable hazard analysis, Hazard analysis, HACCP-plan)
  • Updates and approval of Technical Data Sheet for Caldic products
  • Shelf life extension evaluation
  • Food Safety Team Members 
  • Involvement in handling of Non-Conformities (including customer complaints)
  • QHSE related educations and internal training
  • Verifications (Environmental monitoring, Allergen management plan, analytical plan and other) and validation connected to the Quality Management System
  • Continuous improvement and Plan-Check-Do-Act cycle

You have:

  • Experience of quality related work within the food industry is meriting
  • Experience from Food Safety Certifications (BRC/FSSC 22000) is meriting
  • 3-5 years education as Food technician/engineer or similar
  • Good general IT skills. IT knowledge within Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics AX is meriting
  • Good skills in Swedish and English, both lingual and in writing. Good skills in Danish is meriting
