Caldic UK was founded in 1988 following the takeover of Sheppy Chemicals by Caldic BV. We operate from two purpose built sites based at Chesterfield and Melton Mowbray, where our principal activity is the distribution of Acids & Lye’s, Solvents and Specialty chemicals. Operating from extensive bulk storage tanks and modern warehousing we are able to offer blending, dilution and repacking of our product range to suit customer needs.
Mainly we supply industrial chemicals for apllications like surface coatings and specialty chemicals for, amongst other applications, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals usage. With the services we offer, we answer our customers demands.

Caldic UK has been active in food ingredients for many years and we have now created a dedicated Food Ingredients division. This enables us to offer a more focused approach to build a product base that can meet all of our customers’ requirements. We cover the UK and Irish markets. We have a dedicated food warehouse and logistics department. We endeavor to work closely and in partnership with both customers and suppliers to ensure that we build long lasting relationships.
Our Food activities are separated into two areas Functional and Aromatic Ingredients. Our Aromatic range includes Herbs & Spices, Dehydrated Vegetables and Flavours.
