Fibers arethreadlike material, usually pliable and capable of being spun into a yarn. Fibers may be classified as either natural or synthetic.
Cellulose fibers are cotton or fibers made from waste paper. Cellulose fibers have excellent thermal insulation properties, can modify the rheology of mixtures and act as a process aid.
The main applications are in asphalt as a bitume binder, in tile adhesives, in cement renders, in mortars as a binder for insulation and in housing and public buildings.
