Founded as a Chemicals distribution company in 1910, the company further developed its Düsseldorf plant into a successfully growing production and distribution business. Caldic acquired the site in 1996 and included it into its international business model.

The origin area of operations was and still is distribution of chemicals, like solvents and inorganic commodities as well as speciality chemicals. Furthermore the company focussed its activities on toll manufacturing and the production of fire extinguishing materials continuously investing in its site which covers an area of about 30.000 m².
