Anny Hu currently works in the position of Business Manager for the food division of Caldic Shanghai.

The food division is responsible for the purchase, domestic sales, export and import of food ingredients and additives. Examples are ingredients for chocolate, beverage and bakery.

“I started working for Caldic Shanghai as a Businessssistant right after obtaining the Master’s degree in “Food science and Technology”. I am involved since the foundation of Caldic Shanghai in 2006. In those days we started with 3 employees and now, 4 years later, the company counts 12 employees.

My primary role is to ensure a smooth day to day running of the entire food business of Caldic Shanghai. Therefore I am responsible for performing a variety of functions, which involves customer contact and sales management, purchasing, logistics and order management. I enjoy the fact that no day is the same!

I have a lot of contact with- and learn a lot from my colleagues of the food divisions in Europe (like Caldic Belgium , Italy and Ingredients,) because of their extensive services and many years of experience.

Caldic Shanghai is developing rapidly and we all work hard for- and believe in a prosperous future of the company. I enjoy being part of this young, energetic team with a real “can do mentality”.
